I had a great experience at my favorite local CVS! I was looking for a beauty product that wasn’t on the shelf, and without me even asking, a staff member kindly offered to check in the back. I truly appreciated the extra effort, which made my shopping experience so much more positive. The customer service here is always helpful and attentive. Highly recommend this location!

Update: pharmacy will not pick up the call or answer the voicemail from Walgreens pharmacists to have my rx transferred. So now I have no access to my rx. What a nightmare. Extremely irresponsible pharmacists at this location. Always extremely long lines in person with RXs not ready on time. I tried to avoid the in-person lines and chose the same-day delivery option, but my RX was never delivered. I called the pharmacy to address the issue, and after being on hold for 20+mins, a human being never picked up. I left a voicemail with the pharmacy, and no one called me back. I could not select for it to be re-delivered in the app. So I called Walgreens and had my RX transferred. Never using this pharmacy.

I witnessed an incredible experience at the CVS on 1396 2nd Ave in NYC. I went to wait in line for my prescription and ahead of me was a young, blind woman being escorted by Tyler, an employee. He was so kind to her and engaged in conversation about how crazy it is that some people wait in line for pizza. He also inquired why she didn't have her prescriptions delivered. She said she likes to take her walks, but also shared that she didn't know how to set it up. He said they could help her with that, but she wasn't too interested in the concept. He didn't push further and pivoted the conversation to a dog that was wagging his tail and looking at her. They laughed and he waited an appropriate distance behind her while she gave her info to the pharmacist to give her some privacy. He engaged in more conversation with her while she was waiting and it seemed like he made her more comfortable. Once she got her medicine, he escorted her to the front again. I haven't seen that genuine kindness and respect in a long time and I give big kudos to Tyler, who mentioned he's only been working at the store for about 2 weeks, for the incredible customer experience I witnessed.

Each time that I am shopping for items or just picking up my subscriptions at CVS, I have been treated very nicely and CVS always have what I was looking for. The Pharmacy staff are the greatest.

The satisfaction varies by branch. The nearest one to me is small and usually has very long lines to pick up prescriptions or speak to someone in the pharmacy. This store can't keep items on the shelf as they sell out quickly as it's the only store in the neighborhood. CVS closed the two other closest stores which was a big mistake. The next nearest store is about a mile away so not a quick walk when you need something. But those stores are larger and have more varied products so it is worthwhile when you have time to go. The Extra Care program is decent but all rewards expire in 30 days so you better use them or you lose them forever as they will not replace unused rewards. That is too short a time in my opinion because you earned these rewards for shopping there. It's not that they are given for a certain promotion or sale. The employees I've interacted with in various stores are helpful which is good.
