I hate that I have to write a review. I am new to the neighborhood. My physician sent my prescription here because of the proximity to my new apt. When I walked in I asked if my prescription was there and if it was ready. The lady didn't see it and asked a coworker nearby. He remembered my name and told her to look again. After about 3 minutes of them looking and asking others I told them that could come back because I needed to catch the ferry in a few minutes. They mentioned that they were about to close. It was 3:25pm. The pharmacist said that he'd fill the prescription again. By then more customers started coming in. I moved out of way to allow others to pay for their items. As I am standing there I'm watching the pharmacist pour the pills from his hand into something. 2 minutes later they ring up my prescription and I run out to catch the ferry. But, something didn't sit well with me. So, I googled if it was normal to not use gloves while counting medicine. Then I called the pharmacy and the pharmacist answered. I told him that I didn't want to make a scene in the store but I asked if they were supposed wear gloves and he said no. I told him that I noticed that he used his bare hands and got very defensive. He asked me how do I know because I cannot see over the counter. I told him that I googled and if he did use his hands I don't feel comfortable putting using it. He asked me if I wanted to come back and he'd fill it again. I was boarding the ferry at this time. I replied no and hung up. Deep down I wish I would have trusted myself and went back. When I got home I hesitantly took 1 pill and just as I thought would happen, it immediately sent me to the toilet. I googled the side effects of the medicine and that wasn't one of them. I probably won't take the rest of the medicine because of the entire situation. I just everyone to be aware of bad business practices and to go with your gut instincts. If it happened to me it can happen to anyone. Be well and stay safe.

Give this place your business! This is what a pharmacy should be like. I am a pretty new customer here and, despite that fact, the pharmacist went way out of his way to help ensure my best interests and my health were looked after.

Place is never open and they don’t follow their own google hours. Don’t waste your time. Whoever owns must be allergic to making money.
