I stopped by the modern chemist on Saturday, nov 2nd to stock up on some items, including this Avene Exfoliating Gel. The associate did not offer to provide a receipt when we completed our purchase. Once we got home, I was unpacking my bag and noticed that the product was in fact a tester, and old. Since I have no receipt, I will be unable to return this item and am stuck with a product I will be unable to use given its state. I’m disappointed because this product is not cheap! The sales associate sold me a used, tester product

Honestly, i think I would be difficult going back to a chain pharmacy after coming here for a while. The staff is so incredibly helpful and being a small pharmacy my significant other and I have been able to build small relationship with the owner and workers making the experience just that much better. I truly cannot recommend this place enough. They have been great to me, and judging by all the other 5 star reviews it seems I’m not the only one hahahaa.

Such a great store, and the best pharmacist. Always goes above and beyond, even brought the meds to us after hours in an emergency! This place is a good mile from our apt but I'll always go out of my way to support. Store itself is super clean and has a really fun selection too.
