My partner and I came in to get flu shots. We had a 5:30 PM appointment. We waited a couple hours after our appointment time, after a certain point it was just comical. There was a single tech working, at the pace of the sloth from Zootopia. A whole crew of people were waiting for their appointments, and they were being admitted for their shot at a rate of one person per HOUR. We were assured multiple times that we would get our shots before they closed. At 7:59 the tech told everyone that the pharmacy closes at 8 and there's nothing they can do. No apology, no warning. Okay, employees called out, it's busy, whatever. They should have told us, and everyone else there, that "unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we can't see you today." Instead they kept us there until closing and then told us to leave. But it gets worse. After rescheduling someplace else the next week, we come to find out that our insurance claims were declined because Duane Reade had already submitted a claim. THEY SUBMITTED INSURANCE CLAIMS FOR CARE WE DID NOT RECEIVE. Avoid this place.

This is the absolute worst pharmacy in the neighborhood. They never have prescriptions in stock and give you no help or information. The pharmacists are inept, rude and unhelpful. I hope they close or hire all new staff.

Avoid this pharmacy if you can. It’s not that they’re rude or impolite They're friendly and no doubt trying their best. But lines are long, they're under-staffed, and even if you get an email/text notification that something is ready, it often isn't. And sometimes they don't have prescriptions, so there's a 25% chance you’ll have to call your doctor to have it sent elsewhere anyway.

Their pharmacy is always a 30 minute wait, 5 6 people deep. You'll never get them on the phone. The team is obviously overworked, going non stop and still not keeping up with the volume. They need to hire more pharmacists.

Waited 2 hours on hold before finally transferring prescriptions to different location via the Walgreens app. The whole store is way understaffed. The neighborhood deserves better!
